Among the 3 pilot sites of the CIRCLE project, the Eurovéloroute V4 of Conchil-le-Temple, Groffliers and Waben is the most advanced. The revalorization chain of shell co-products is being structured and our English partners are taking good notes of our knowledge.

On April 04, 2022, the partner UCLan (Central University of Lancashire) came to France to visit the production site of CIRCLE concrete, the EQIOM CRH Company in Hauts-de-France. This visit allowed in particular to apprehend the process of washing and grinding of scallops, to be transposed in Great Britain on scallops, cockles and whelks. 

The Eurovéloroute V4 pilot site will start in June 2022, as will the UCLan site. 

The third pilot site concerns the Ostréapolis site in Le Tour-du-parc, will start in autumn 2022 with concrete made of oyster shells.
