The global changes of the Anthropocene, first and foremost climate change, the extinction of species, the depletion of resources, the effects of pollution and energy crises are upheavals whose manifestations are brutal and uncontrolled by societies. Against this backdrop, higher education and research establishments (HEIs) must make a full commitment and become key players in education, research and innovation, because it is essential to train students and professionals who are capable of responding to current and future challenges in a sustainable way. This involves both the initial training of students and a strengthening of lifelong learning for socio-economic players.
The aim of the POME project (Parcours d'Orientation vers des Métiers Ecoresponsables) is to publicise and promote careers, sectors and training courses in Normandy that meet the challenges of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility (SDRS). The aim is to create educational resources that are multimodal, user-friendly and eco-responsible. They will be accessible online or deployed at local meetings with beneficiaries.
