Research and innovation for maritime engineering
BUILDERS Engineering School stands out for its commitment to maritime innovation through BUILDERS Marine, a interdisciplinary centre dedicated to marine engineering and the’coastal development. In response to the challenges posed by climate change marine renewable energies and coastal resource management, It allows us to develop solutions for port and maritime infrastructures more resilient.

BUILDERS Marine is a key player in maritime research and engineering, combining ocean sciences and innovation in sustainable maritime infrastructures. Our strategic priorities include :
Using cutting-edge equipment, BUILDERS Marine teams test and model the interactions between infrastructures and marine environments, thereby contributing to the blue growth and the ecological transition of the maritime sector.
Initiated and organised by the Cerema, BUILDERS Engineering school SHF, l’PIANC and Syntec Engineering, The aim of this new event is to become a showcase for French and European maritime know-how. A genuine forum for exchange and sharing between experts, scientists and public and private contractors, the «Rencontres de l'ingénierie Maritime» (Maritime Engineering Encounters) will examine subjects that are directly relevant to the challenges faced by local authorities and economic players. Over the course of three days, the 2nd edition of the event will cover a wide range of subjects, including complex developments and structures, digital methods for maritime construction and nature-based solutions.
