Why choose the Bachelor's degree in Construction
apprenticeship?

Thanks to an apprenticeship contract, the student alternates between courses at the BUILDERS School of Engineering's in-house Apprentice Training Centre (CFA) and work experience in a company. This model promotes integration a professional qualification and recognised diploma while earning a salary.

The BUILDERS Bachelor :
professional training

BUILDERS School of Engineering offers a Bachelor in Responsible Engineering and Sustainable Construction, This is a three-year course. This three-year course, including apprenticeships from year 2ᵉ onwards, is designed to meet the needs of employers in the construction sector.

 

The strengths of the apprenticeship Bachelor's degree :
  • A sandwich course with immersion in a company from the 2nd year.
  • Practical in-company assignments: site management, technical studies, project management.
  • The acquisition of technical skills will be assessed at each period by means of a written report and oral presentation.
  • Local support from the integrated CFA and teaching teams.
  • Paid training fully funded by the company and the OPCOs.
  • A state-recognised degree with 3 years' higher education (Bac+3), a guarantee of quality and professionalism.
  • The possibility of continuing on to the Builders engineering cycle, with no break in career path (subject to conditions and selection)

The apprenticeship programme

The apprenticeship contract signed by the apprentice and the employer sets out the training and work arrangements. This contract, which complies with the articles of the French Employment Code, alternates between periods spent in the company and theoretical courses at the CFA.



Organisation of the Bachelor's apprenticeship :

  • 1ʳᵉ year: initial training
  • 2ᵉ year: entry on apprenticeship contract, alternating company/school.
  • 3ᵉ year: specialisation and continuation of the apprenticeship contract.

Each apprenticeship period is designed to provide a gradual build-up of skills, with the support of an in-company apprenticeship supervisor.
