The Lyon rail network is one of the most developed in France, It's a great way to travel quickly to several major regions and cities (Paris, Marseille, Grenoble, Chambéry and Annecy). 

The SNCF Youth Card allows you to benefit from significant reductions on long-distance journeys, an advantage not to be overlooked if you make regular return trips!

The Lyon metro network is one of the densest and most efficient in France, with  4 metro lines serving the main districts and university centres:

Underground trains run every day from 5 a.m. to midnight, with increased frequencies at peak times, making it easier for students and business travellers to get around.

Additional information, more than 120 bus routes provide complete coverage of Lyon and its suburbs, making it possible to reach areas less served by the metro and tramway.
