A sector in the throes of change

The Building and public works sector brings together more than 600,000 companies and is a key driver of the economy. In 2017, it employed 1.146 million employees, of which 38 % were over 45 years old. Faced with mass retirements, The recruitment of young talent has become a strategic challenge to ensure the next generation of employees.

Choosing an educational pathway must be personalised and tailored the skills, aptitudes and aspirations of each student. And yet, lack of career prospects, fear of failure and frequent career changes are recurring problems.
