The sustainable construction are at the heart of environmental issues, This means that future professionals will need to develop their skills. It is therefore crucial to integrate innovative teaching approaches to raise awareness and provide training in emerging’eco-building and energy performance.

Eco-construction implies a change in design methods and choice of materials. The RE2020 environmental regulation, which replaces RT2012, sets ambitious targets for sustainable, low-carbon construction. It is based on three main principles:
The project GALAADD (GAme LAb for Learning about Sustainable Development) is part of this approach, combining educational innovation and raising awareness of sustainable construction. Its aim is to train students in the building and public works sector through edutainment, by integrating immersive and interactive digital tools.
The GALAADD project is based on two major challenges:
The GALAADD project is not limited to BUILDERS École d'Ingénieurs Normandie. It is due to be rolled out nationwide via the CCCA-BTP, allowing apprentice training organisations (ATOs) to access these resources and integrate them into their curricula.
