Convinced that diversity of profiles is a source of wealth and performance, BUILDERS School of Engineering has always supported this sincere stance, which reflects the values widely shared in the construction sector. This diversity is the result of’a policy of social inclusion pursued by the school since its inception.
Initiatives include

4 to 6% of the school's annual budget is devoted to scholarships.
1 in 3 students receives financial assistance (school bursaries, CROUS bursaries and/or partner bursaries)
Opened in 2002, apprenticeships are an excellent way of bringing more diversity into schools, as they remove the disincentive of schooling.

Other flagship initiatives include support programmes for secondary school pupils.
Every year, almost a hundred secondary school pupils are tutored by BUILDERS École d'ingénieurs engineering students through the ’ La Réussite en Cordées ».
The aim is to open up training and career prospects to young people whose background seemed to predispose them to low-skilled jobs or short career paths.

A disability advisor is present at the school to support students with disabilities throughout their studies, in partnership with SUMPPS.
It welcomes them and ensures that any necessary adjustments are made to give them equal opportunities to succeed in their studies. These adjustments are possible from the time of the entrance exam to the school and throughout the course.
Since 2019, the school has been taking part in the DuoDay operation, making it possible to Formation of duos between people with disabilities and BUILDERS engineering school staff.

Young women make up 25% of the school's students, compared with an average of 26.8% in engineering schools.
BUILDERS École d'ingénieurs promotes the engineering profession through specific initiatives aimed at female high school and university students, and partnerships with the "Elles bougent" association in particular.
