Study of academic record (40% of the final score) :
Written tests for the Concours Avenir (60% of the final mark) : 2 May 2026 (only for candidates who are not Grand Classés).

If you are in a preparatory class PC, PSI, MP or PT stream, you have the opportunity to sit the competitive entrance exams for the 1st year of the engineering cycle under student or apprentice status via the e3a-Polytech and Banque PT competitive entrance exams.
If you are in ATS, If you are a student or apprentice, you can take the competitive entrance exam for the 1st year of the engineering cycle via the Arts et Métiers ATS GC competitive entrance exam.

Students from scientific CPGEs can enter the engineering cycle at BUILDERS École d'Ingénieurs in year 3ᵉ depending on their stream.

Students from the ATS (Adaptation Technicien Supérieur) preparatory class can apply for admission to the 1st year of the engineering cycle.
Procedure:
Entry to the 1st year of the engineering cycle is possible after a DUT in Civil Engineering or a BTS in Building/Public Works, either as a student or as an apprentice.

You can apply either as a student or as an apprentice. Conditions d'admission : Pour les candidats français ou résidents dans l'UE l’inscription se réalise via le portail d’admission dédiée.
Le dépôt d’un dossier peut se réaliser au plus tard jusqu’à la date limite de la dernière session. Les candidats hors UE doivent obligatoirement passer par Studying in France pour déposer leur dossier.

Several entry levels in French or English.
Foreign applicants must register with CAMPUS France and apply on BUILDERS École d'ingénieurs. Their application will then be processed through the procedure established by CAMPUS France.
Applicants from a French lycée abroad must apply via ParcourSup. They will then be invited by the Concours Avenir to take the written tests online.

International students wishing to join the Construction Engineer programme de BUILDERS Engineering school on campus Normandy or Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes must apply via the CAMPUS France procedure, by interviewing the Service for Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) the French embassy in their country. After reviewing the academic file, shortlisted candidates are invited to a videoconference interview with the teaching team.
BUILDERS offers personalised support to facilitate the reception and integration of students from abroad. Successful applicants can benefit from :
