The project 3NC , coordinated by Normandy International Campus of Excellence of energies ( CMQE CEINE ), is part of the recovery plan France 2030 , which supports the emergence of a innovative nuclear power participating in decarbonising industry and transport . Supported by the State to the tune of 42 million euros and by the Normandy Region to the tune of 7 million euros, this project brings together a wide range of partners to provide guidance, training and support throughout the school career , academic and professional, including BUILDERS Engineering school.
The aim is to meet the needs of all the professions in the industry. The project is broken down into seven areas of development to create an appetite for nuclear projects, improve the training on offer and make Normandy an observatory for the future of energy in France.
These projects will require almost 12,700 new hires over 10 years in our region, creating a large number of job opportunities . It includes the Construction Engineering Programme and the Bachelor in Responsible Engineering and Sustainable Construction from BUILDERS Engineering school.
From CAP to Bac+8, the new training courses for nuclear site jobs cover a wide range of fields, including Civil Engineering , boilermaking Nuclear Engineering or radiation protection. The project 3NC , with total funding of €64 million, brings together 36 partners to guide, train and support students throughout their career, and to meet the needs of companies in Normandy, from construction to the operation of a power plant.
The operation is supported by the French government as part of the the “Skills and Professions of the Future” AMI” the Programme France 2030 , operated by Caisse des Dépôts.
A training framework was published by the Agence de l'Orientation et des Métiers de Normandie.
3NC Training Guide Publish at Calameo
During the international competition WorldSkills Lyon 2024 , The Pavillon France promoted French excellence. This was an opportunity for the’ Agence de l'Orientation et des Métiers de Normandie (Normandy careers guidance agency) and 3NC partners to promote the nuclear industry and its professions to professionals from all over the world! The teams from BUILDERS Engineering school were on hand to present the nuclear training .
