The start of the 2025 academic year marks a new beginning for BUILDERS engineering students. This year, our school welcomed the new class at a integration day organised on our two campus. Placed under the sign of conviviality, this day marked the beginning of a new adventure for the new students. Its aim: to present the training programme in a warm atmosphere, make it easier to welcome students and create links through fun activities organised by 5ᵉ year students.
A morning of presentation and discussion
As soon as they arrived, the new students were welcomed by the campus over a breakfast provided by the school, giving them the opportunity to talk and get to know their future classmates.
The students then gathered to watch the welcome address by the management, This was an opportunity for students to meet the teaching staff and the student office, who will be supporting them throughout the year. The event provided an opportunity to reiterate the school's values and encourage students to become fully involved in the school's activities. school life.
New arrivals were also able to meet representatives from the Student Office (BDE), who organised activities to help them get dressed. in the colours of our partner companies. Divided into groups, the students took part in exchanges and began to forge friendships.
Each group then went to an emblematic location in the city to take a symbolic photo, watch the speeches by local representatives and enjoy a convivial moment organised in their honour.
An afternoon of good humour
The afternoon was devoted to relaxation and team-building. The groups took part in a series of fun workshops in different parts of the city, taking on a variety of challenges. team challenges while discovering landmarks in their host cities. These activities encouraged exchanges between students and helped newcomers to integrate better, particularly thanks to the presence of 5ᵉ year students.
Back on campus, the students took part in a creative challenge: to build, in a limited time, a structure that was both tall and strong. After a series of tests, a panel of judges selected the winning teams.
The day ended with a group photo and thanks from the teaching team, followed by a relaxing moment over a convivial meal.
