Training VAE

VAE (Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience) is the best way to obtain an engineering degree by making the most of your professional experience. Whether you are employed, self-employed or a volunteer, if you have at least one year's experience directly related to the qualification you are aiming for, you can apply for VAE.

The certification process
at BUILDERS School of Engineering

VAE is a system that enables anyone to have the skills they have acquired through their professional or personal experience officially recognised, with a view to obtaining a qualification listed in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP). This certification may be a diploma, a title or a certificate of professional qualification.

The VAE process at BUILDERS School of Engineering

The Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) process at BUILDERS School of Engineering is divided into four distinct phases, each with its own costs:

 

Phase 1: Acceptance of the pre-file

  • Description The first stage consists of completing a VAE application file, detailing the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired through experience, with reference to the engineering degree in question.
  • Cost 250 (payable as soon as the application is submitted).

Phase 2: Project analysis and orientation

  • Description Once eligibility has been confirmed, an in-depth analysis of the project is carried out to check that the candidate's experience matches the requirements of the diploma in question. At the end of this phase, several options are available:
    • Continuation of the VAE process and preparation of the validation file.
    • Redirection to another, more appropriate scheme, such as additional training, specific support or another skills recognition scheme.
  • Cost : 500 €.

Phase 3: Preparing for validation with support

  • Description BUILDERS École d'ingénieurs offers optional support to help candidates put together their VAE application, highlighting the activities, knowledge, skills and competences related to the diploma in question.
  • Cost On quotation, depending on the candidate's specific needs.

Phase 4: Submission of application, registration and selection panel

  • Description Candidates submit their finalised application, register officially and appear before a panel of judges, who assess their level of mastery of the skills and competencies presented.
  • Cost : 700 €.
