This year BUILDERS Ecole d'ingénieurs is in the top third of the Usine Nouvelle 2024 rankings for the first time.

This year, the New Factory ranking will be published at the beginning of 2024. It is based on the following criteria:

BUILDERS School of Engineering has risen to the top of the rankings. 39th place for the national ranking and 2nd for the regional ranking with the following scores :

Proximity to companies

The first criterion we evaluated was our proximity to companies. Our score of 27.80/100 places us 37th/128th.

The link with the companies at BUILDERS School of Engineering is a very important element! Our students spend an average of 538 hours on projects proposed by companies. This time allows them to understand the real issues in a constantly changing world.

30% of teaching hours are taught by professionals from the world of construction and public works. This enables students to see themselves fully in their future profession!

Professional integration

For this criterion, we obtained a score of 62.46/100, putting us in 22nd place out of 128 in the rankings.

Training students to thrive in their professional lives is a key criterion.

Today at BUILDERS Ecole d'ingénieurs, 94,74% is the number of graduates who have found a job in less than two months! And 94,38% of them have permanent contracts!

Research

Teaching through research aims to promote R&D activities and innovation in materials and techniques for sustainable construction. We scored 18.32/100 in this area.

Traditional R&D approaches are no longer sufficient to meet the challenges and emergencies facing the construction sector. Accelerating innovation and proposing concrete solutions based on academic knowledge and expertise are at the heart of the Research Unit's approach. BUILDERS Lab

BUILDERS Ecole d'Ingénieurs has a BUILDERS Lab Research Unit with high-level skills in key areas linked to the National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC) and the RE2020: development of low-carbon buildings and materials, bio-based materials, the circular economy, building heating and energy, materials to combat heat islands....

BUILDERS School of Engineering also has its own hydraulic laboratory

40 metres long and 1.50 metres deep, the Jean Chapon hydraulic laboratory has been located at BUILDERS School of Engineering since 2018. This facility unique in France, This is a large-scale test of the impact of waves on coastal equipment (dykes, jetties, coastal protection, etc.).

In an environmental context where the threat of rising sea levels is a priority, this equipment will enable us to study the morphology of maritime facilities to better protect populations.
