Normandy is a flagship region for the nuclear industry in France, with leading companies such as EDF and Orano, and major infrastructures such as nuclear power plants and fuel processing sites. Faced with today's energy challenges and the growing need for specialist skills, the Normandy Region has launched the 3NC (Normandie Nucléaire, Nouvelles Compétences), The aim is to train large numbers of people for careers in the nuclear industry.

The 3NC project was born out of the need to meet the vast recruitment needs of the nuclear sector in Normandy, estimated at 10,000 new employees over the next ten years. This ambitious project brings together a consortium of 37 public and private players, including universities, engineering schools, training centres and companies in the sector. The aim is to boost the region's training capacity in all nuclear-related technical fields, from civil engineering to public works and industry.
BUILDERS École d'Ingénieurs' involvement in the 3NC project is part of a wider initiative to support the economic and industrial development of Normandy. By training highly qualified engineers in the nuclear field, the school is helping to boost the attractiveness of the region and meet the skills needs of local businesses. This synergy between training and industry is essential to ensure the success of future energy projects and the transition to low-carbon energy.

Thanks to its close collaboration with the 3NC project, BUILDERS École d'ingénieurs is actively involved in training the talent that will shape the future of the nuclear industry in Normandy. This collective effort is a concrete response to today's energy challenges and a unique opportunity for students to become part of a forward-looking, meaningful and innovative industry.
