Smart Port & Marine Environment Management

Against a backdrop of increasing international maritime traffic, climate change and the programmed depletion of fossil energy resources, the major civil engineering players involved in marine engineering are today expressing a real need for highly qualified employees.

Objectives

Position yourself as a national and international reference for :

  • Manage port activities, from traffic to facility maintenance
  • Participate in the design of various maritime structures and works 
  • Develop offshore wind and renewable energy projects
  • Build port complexes with multi-disciplinary requirements, with a view to controlling environmental impact
  • Participate in coastal protection and development
Job opportunities
  1. Professions related to project management: Technical assistant to the project owner (AMO) in the design, construction and operation phases, Manager of various port tasks (dredging, maritime traffic, maintenance, environment and port development, etc.), Coastal management and development manager.
  2. Engineering or project management professions: Project manager, project manager, project engineer, price studies, engineer in charge of consulting, expert appraisals and upstream studies (opportunity, feasibility...) in France and abroad on design and/or maintenance projects for port, maritime and energy (+oil and gas) complexes, project manager in charge of developing offshore wind farms or other Marine Renewable Energies (MRE), both at design and development level.
  3. Corporate engineers: Offshore wind farm or other MRE operator manager, expert engineer, highly qualified to manage the various phases from design to completion of major port, maritime and energy projects, technical maintenance manager for CPME (port, maritime and energy complexes), expert geotechnical engineer (soil mechanics).

TO APPLY

You must hold or be in the process of obtaining (to be validated no later than the beginning of September 2024):

  • a 5-year higher education diploma (bac+5): holders of an engineering diploma in civil engineering, fluid or solid mechanics or general engineering, or a post-graduate university diploma: Master 2 in specialized technical and scientific training in civil, coastal and maritime engineering.
  • a diploma from the École des Officiers du Commissariat de la Marine.
  • Bac+4: Master 1 or equivalent, followed by a minimum of 3 years' professional experience.

Cost Initial training: 10 800 euros

Cost Continuing education: 12,200 euros

Teaching languages : 100% English.
