The MSc Built Environments and Infrastructures (MSc BEI) is an English-taught programme designed to prepare engineers to work on complex projects across the built environment and infrastructure sectors. The programme combines a common core, an orientation semester, a major semester, and a final Master thesis. It can be followed as a full 2-year or 1-year track, and several semesters are also open to exchange students from partner institutions.
A June summer school format can be linked from the MSc landing page to strengthen international exposure and project-based learning through an intensive workshop.
In the 2-year track, students complete a 12-week internship in a design office between Year 1 and Year 2 to apply design and construction methods in a professional context and prepare their S3 major and Master thesis.
S4 is dedicated to the Master thesis, combining a company mission with a written thesis and an oral defence.
